Have anyone got problem with MMC process in callmanager 4.1(3)sr6? It cause the CPU spike to 100%. Stop callmanager, IIS service did not solve the issue. The task MMC used most of the CPU. After reload the publisher server, the CPU drops to normal level. The windows version is 2000.4.2(SR16). And cisco CAS is installed. The subscriber server's CPU was at normal level while the Publisher was at very high CPU level.
Re: MMC task cause CPU spike in callmanager 4.1(3)sr6
We find out the issue casued by user opened the application event on the Publisher server. As user opened the application event, the MMC task will be found, user wants to skip unwanted messages, he continuous press the cursor up or down will casue the mmc.exe task increase to nearly 80% in Publisher and 100% in Subscriber server.
I suggest user to download the application log from Publisher and open it in another NT server.
Does anyone know the way to download NT event viewer program? If user wants to open the file in non-NT platform PC.
