I've a callmanager connected to 2 VG224 in SCCP. I've several analog phones and faxes and all works fine ( in pass-through ).
The callmanager is connected to a VG2851 and this one is connected to a primary E1.
The trouble is that I've connected a modem and there is no way to make it works. I hear "continuosly" the tipical modem call beeping but the calls does not connect to the other endpoint. It seems like it fails the handshake.
sorry but i'm configured in SCCP because by this way the analog telephone are configurable like IP-phone. Some people told me that for modem could be better H.323, but modems are not so important, in my deployment.
Analog and fax works fine, but modem is always failed.
according to your confiugraion list above, I want to know whether the 'dail-peer voice 4 voip' can work, since the protocol between ccm and isr is mgcp, so i don't think this dial-peer can work.pls help
I'm dealing with a similar scenario here; VG224 with SCCP and voice & fax (passthrough) calls are fine. The modem passthrough calls inbound (from PSTN) are still fine, but all the modem call out are failing.
All originating&terminating gateways are both configured for modem passthrough nse payload-type 110 codec g711ulaw redundancy.
Any ideas? Could you find a resolutions to your case?

the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
