Modem Dropping Connection After 30 mins

Hi we have a customer using CM 6.0 with modems running over ATA's with an MGCP G/W.

They use the modems for remote access, however they drop their connection after 30 mins of being connected. This is dependant on whatever model of modem is used.

Even though it talks about fax passthrough, this works the same as modem passthrough.

Also,if you use a T1 or E1 digital interface on your MGCP gateway, ensure you have 'network-clock-select 1 e1/t1 ...' configured to ensure correct synchronisation of the DSP's and to prevent clock slips as these will break modem/fax calls.
