MOH Multicast on CME 8.6

Hi all,

Currently I have configured moh multicast on my CME 8.6. The phones and CME are in same VLAN, are working fine when onhold; a onhold music is played. Issue is when the phones are not on same VLAN with CME, these phones received silent when onhold. Inter-VLAN routing on a Catalyst 3750X stack switches. Its running on IOS 12.2.55-SE3

moh flash:/music-on-hold.au

multicast moh 239.120.1.1 port 2000 route 10.21.21.250

I have enable 'ip multicast-routing distributed', but nowhere to enable 'ip pim version' and 'ip pim sparse' at the VLAN interfaces. Commands seem changed and different compared to older version. Please assist and advise.

PIM routing is a licensed feature requiring IP Services on the 3750X switches. With IP Base you can only use PIM Stub routing which also requires EIGRP Stub routing.

What license is installed on the 3750X?

The 3750X is on IPBase. Does Moh has to be in multicast? Can it be in unicast routing?
