Moh sound interruptions


I have CUCM 8.6.1 and  we use cisco Media Termination Point Software.                        

Users hold the telephone and play jingle (MOH) but interruptions in the sound going.



Number of MediaResourceListExhausted events exceeds configured threshold during configured interval 0 within 60 minutes  on cluster StandAloneCluster.
There are 1 MediaResourceListExhausted events (up to 30) received during the monitoring interval From Mon Jun 16 17:33:26 EEST 2014 to Mon Jun 16 18:33:26 EEST 2014:   
MediaResourceListName : NULL_LIST MediaResourceType : 4 AppID : Cisco CallManager ClusterID : StandAloneCluster NodeID : ccmanager  TimeStamp : Mon Jun 16 17:33:24 EEST 2014

I don't think that the error you are seeing here in the RTMT log is corresponding to the issue that the users are facing.

As per your problem, users when put on hold, do not hear the MOH correctly right?

This sounds more like an audio quality problem.

Does this happen only during certain times of the day? What is the frequency of reporting this issue? Is this a continuous problem or intermittent?

You can take packet captures on the MOH server to check if the servers are playing the moh stream correctly. In this case it is the network that has to be investigated for a problem.
