I'm testing multicast moh from flash and I have it working when I call in from the PSTN. I'm having trouble if I call IP phone to IP phone and place the call on hold, just dead air. Just to be clear, I'm placing a call between 2 phones connected to the etherswitch module on the remote router.
I have CCM 4.1.3 and a remote branch router that has SRST configured. G729 across the wan. MOH server in CM is set to multicast, 239.1.1.1 (increment by IP address), and hops set to 1. MRGL's have been assigned to all the necessary device pools.
I've been through this doc and still can't get it to work.

Here's my config on the remote branch router:
call-manager-fallback
max-conferences 8 gain -6
ip source-address 192.168.100.1 port 2000
max-ephones 5
max-dn 6 dual-line preference 2
transfer-pattern .T
call-forward pattern .T
moh music-on-hold.au
multicast moh 239.1.1.3 port 16384
interface Vlan103
ip address 172.16.100.1 255.255.255.0
ip helper-address 172.16.1.20
ip pim sparse-dense-mode
interface Loopback0
ip address 192.168.100.1 255.255.255.0
ip pim sparse-dense-mode
IP multicast routing is turned on.
Output of show ephone sum:
Max Conferences 8 with 0 active (8 allowed)
Skinny Music On Hold Status
Active MOH clients 0 (max 96), Media Clients 0

MOH multicast is only G.711
IP Phone -- MOH Server with multicast should be G.711

If the multicast stream passes through a g729 region, doesn't it get converted to 239.1.1.3 (if you're using IP address increment?)
I did get this working by adding in multicast moh 239.1.1.3 route

that would be if the CUCM is the MOH multicast source and you selected other codecs, the router can only stream G711

Right on, that makes sense. I have g711 and g729 selected on under the service parameters. When I have a call on hold and I type in show ccm-manager music, it shows MOH streaming using g711.
