Multiple CME sites sharing Directory?

Client has multiple CME sites 4.0.3

Both sites connected via vpn tunnel.

Site in Houston and one in Dallas.

Is there a way to share Houston's directory in Dallas and vice versa?

I am sure this is possible with manually adding those entries, but I wanted to see if anyone out there think this is possible.

To be more specific. Can this be done without having to add/change entries in each others local directory?

No. Either configure the various directory / options, or replace the directory service with an external server. Cisco now offerms integration with Microsoft CRM 3.0, check it out.
