Multiple Remote Destinations in Remote Destination Profile not working

Hi,

I have been using mobility for the last year or so with one remote destination configured. I have tried to add a second remote destination to my profile and use the ring schedule. When I try to ring the new destination, the call fails. However if I ring the old remote destination it works fine. Is there anything I am missing or that I need to add in order to get a second remote destination working. The second destination is an internal IP phone extension.

Thanks,

Derek

remote destination accross ICT is supported.

Make sure the RD is associated to the RDP and Line and that the line is associated with user, also on user page make sure the RD limit is greater or equal to 2.

Hi

Yes, I believe so - from the F&S guide :

Remote Destinations

Ensure remote destinations are Time Division Multiplex (TDM) devices. You cannot configure IP phones within a Cisco Unified Communications Manager cluster as remote destinations.

Ensure remote destinations specify PSTN numbers or numbers across ICT trunks.

Remote destinations cannot resume calls that Cisco Unified IP Phones put on hold

Hi

This feature only works for endpoints that are off-cluster - i.e. on an E1 or over some types of trunks.
