I just finished configuring a CUCM 7.1.3 system.
When I dial the MWI on number from a set, there is a long pause before the MWI
on the phone turns on. Same thing when dialing the off code. On both my 6.1 system and my 3.3
system the lamp on / off is almost immediate. Places to look for the cause of the long pause?

Hi Lee,
You'll need to look for an overlapping number in the 51xx range. This sounds like
you are seeing the inter-digit timeout kicking into play here

It might be worth registering a phone to the Publisher and retrying; if it's a replication issue it would then happen much quicker (never came across slow MWI when lighting it from the phone before though)...

I have multiple sets registered with the publisher.
When we dial the MWI activation code 5101 there is
a 15 second delay before the MWI lights. On my
CM3 and CM6 systems the MWI turns on immediately.

Before I saw your response, I did a quick sweep of the system and discovered a CTI route point 5xxxx. Deleted it and all is well. Thanks.
