Hi:

I think the communication between CME and CUE is SIP based. So i guess you would have to include under your dial-peers

session protocol sipv2

dtmf-relay sip-notify

codec g711ulaw

And also session target IP address has to IP Address of CUE.

HTH

I had that in there in the past with no luck. I added again and still no light. As for the session target should it be the router IP or the CUE module IP?

Thanks

IP address should be the CUE module --

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/integration/unity_exp/configuration/guide/cue_cme1.html#wp1112746

SUMMARY STEPS

1. dial-peer voice tag voip

2. destination-pattern [+] string [T]

3. session protocol sipv2

4. session target ipv4:destination-pattern

5. dtmf-relay sip-notify

6. no vad

7. exit

destination-pattern-IP address of the dial peer that is to receive calls. Enter the IP address of the Cisco Unity Express module.

also check sip-gateway in CLI config of CUE..

Should CUE be accessable from both routers? Or just from CCME? Refraised; is CUE-router also VOIP-enabled besides the dialpeer to CUE?

Hi Todd,

I thought I'd come across this before. Take a look at this thread, it may be of use to you:

http://forum.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=Unified%20Communications%20and%20Video&topic=General&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Dpass_through%26location%3Doutline%40%5E1%40%40.2cbf180d/4#selected_message

Cheers,

-James.

Thanks in advance to everyone

I still cannot get the VM light to light up. I can dialing the MWI number 8000 and off dialing 8001. Here is the configs from both (with some info removed).

Not sure if you got this working yet but I have the same situation at one of my locations, so where the CUE is you need to build out two VOIP dial peers this is how I have mine working, I have 5 digit dialing and my numbers are in a range at the other site hope this helps.
