We want to kwow if it is possible to display the calling name on IP Phones for external incoming calls.
In other words, when a external call arrives, the CUCM will lookup on an directory service (internal or external) to find a name matching the calling number, presenting the name or the name and number on called IP phone.
To complete the picture: there is an internal directory service on CUCM, where add global external contacts?
Many thanks.

If you use H.323, you can use one of the number2name TCL/IVR scripts that I wrote:

Hi Paolo,
many thanks to the suggestion and to let me to download the TCL script.
I have only to do some fewer personalization, and the tests was successfully.
Do you think that the same behaviour can be replicated using a CUE module?
I tryed to figure it on my mind but I'm afraid it will not possible because it is not possible to intercept every call to DID numbers and route them throught the AA/IVR of the CUE module.
But I do not have the great experience you have.
Many thanks again
