native vlans and ip phones

Hi,

I have Avaya IP phones connected to Cisco 3750 switches and the PCs are connected to the switch via the access port of the phones.

I need to configure a native vlan on the access switch in order to allow the PCs to work :

switchport trunk native vlan 2

switchport trunk allowed vlan 2,3

switchport mode trunk

switchport voice vlan 3

The questions I have are:

1. Can more than 1 native vlan be configured on a switch ?

2. Is native vlan port based or switch based ?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Paul

Re: native vlans and ip phones

1. You cannot configure more than 1 Native VLAN on a port.

2. Native VLAN is always Port based
