Need help on Debug ISDN q931

We got an odd problem. When we dial a couple of external number which starts with 686 prefix, the calls are routed back to our internal numbers. The following is the output of "Debug isdn q931" on our Cisco Voice Gateway.

Please take a close look at -

We haved checked the dial-peers on Voice Gateway and nothing is wrong.

Can anyone explain the "IE type redirecting num 7026860756 reason 15" to me please? Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Do you have any translation patterns applied in the outbound direction that could be translating 6860756 to 80756?

Re: Need help on Debug ISDN q931

We checked the translation pattern as well.

We have tested the call from non-VOIP phones and got same result. It is more clear to us that there is problem with the carrier. The carrier re-direct the calls back to us.

The debug shows the number out to line, telco. Are you sure the telco does not have a translation back to you - what/who is the destination number . Is it all numbers based on the prefix? Could you make for testing purposed the number into a full national and let the telco switch strip of the national part to leave a local number?.

Re: Need help on Debug ISDN q931

This appears to be what is happening:

'6860756' which is also known to the provider as 7026860756 is forwarding your call to '80756'

Unless your provider has given you restrictions on how to dial these numbers, this wouldn't be your problem. You can try changing the 7digit vs 10digit dial, as well as the numbering plan and type.

Re: Need help on Debug ISDN q931

You are right. The local carrier translate the number from 702686xxxx to 702448xxxx. We have called them for this problem.

Thanks for your help.
