No Audio from Unity when using Dial-Peer 103...?

I have what I believe to be a transcoding issue and need your feedback or tips. An inbound PSTN call to a DN at a remote site rings the IP phone using my 103 voip dial-peer which points to the subscriber on my network. If the phone is not answered and the call gets transferred to Unity, I just get silence. If I shutdown 103 and force the inbound calls to use 104 and process through the publisher Unity works just fine. Below are the two dial-peer configs and the codec statement:

voice class codec 1

codec preference 1 g711ulaw

codec preference 2 g729r8

!

dial-peer voice 103 voip

description VPN_TO_CCM

destination-pattern 58..

progress_ind setup enable 1

progress_ind progress enable 1

voice-class codec 1

session target ipv4:145.10.144.10

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

no vad

dial-peer voice 104 voip

description VPN_TO_CCM

preference 1

destination-pattern 58..

progress_ind setup enable 1

progress_ind progress enable 1

voice-class codec 1

session target ipv4:145.14.10.10

Any thoughts as to why it would work while going through the pub and not the sub? Thanks.

Re: No Audio from Unity when using Dial-Peer 103...?

Hi Ryan,

I am sure your on the right track here with the Transcoding issue. I am curious about one setting in 104 that is not in 103;

dial-peer voice 104 voip

**preference 1**

Let us know,

Rob

Check your TSP versions on Unity. If you just updated this, there is a possibility that the TSPs do not recognize what you are trying to do. Also check to ensure Unity is properly configured for this as well.
