Call Manager 4.2 - phone 7941

i have 48 phones into a switch and all work fine apart from about 5 users. They are unable to hear anything but the caller can here them

The switches, gw and call manager has all been rebooted and the interfaces have been checked - they are all the same setup

Everything was working fine after reboot but now the same 5 people have the issue again

Any ideas? thanks in advance

Try switching some of those phones for working phones, and see if the problem follows the physical phone, or the DN.

Make sure that the 5 phones that are having the problem are in the same subnet. Try rebooting a good phone to see if it then has the problem.

Changing switchports could help.

Check the webpages of the bad phones when the problem happens, see what IP address they send their RTP to in 'Stream Statistics'.

Then place a good call to the same DN, and see if the IP address matches up.

Few things to try and narrow down the problem.
