No dial tone and you cannot make a call

Sometimes a phone doesnot work no dial tone and you cannot call. when I look show voice call summary

it says

50/0/27 .1 - - - EFXS_W_SETUP_ACK_ONHOOK

I can solve that issue after restarting the call manager express... why is that happening ?

Which exact IOS version are you using ?

Was there a fix to this? I have seen this on 12.4(9)T1 and a reboot of the router was the only fix.

Call hung and stuck in active state, ephone-dn is stuck in on hook

Symptom: Call hung and stuck in active state, so the ephone-dn is stuck in on hook. Conditions: intermittent. hard to recreate but happens a few times a week. Workaround: reload GW

show call active voice brief

 shows the call as active but tx0/0 rx0/0 and there’s no actual call.

Inbound call get busy tone since the line is stucked, outbound call also not get through since it’s a single line.

Bug and workaround

The bug id is CSCsg74357

And right now the corrent version is 12.4.11XJ which is being affected, so we need to do the upgrade to provent it happen again.

While according to the bug, the temperate workaround is to reload router.

May need upgrade ios to 12.4(11)T2 or 12.4.22 and 12.4.24 main line.
