Hi, i have a problem with the ring back. When call from IP Phone to PBX by Gateway H323 with E1, using the dial-peer voice 600 pots, it works. But if i dial using dial-peer voice 750 pots i not have ringback tone. The difference is the 600 is the main pbx and the 750 is another pbx. I'm using a couple E1 to connect at the main pbx only.Pls see the dial peers.

Hi Hassan

In the global config:
voice call send-alert

In the dia-peer pots:
progress_ind alert enable 8

In the dial-peer CUCM
tone ringback alert-no-PI
progress_ind setup enable 3

This is the dial peer to the Alcatel PABX.

!

dial-peer voice 678 pots

tone ringback alert-no-PI

destination-pattern 0[678]..

progress_ind progress enable 2

progress_ind connect enable 2

port 0/0/0:15

forward-digits all

!

I notice that when calling a digital phone, alcatel does not provide a PI, so cisco router is able to generate the ring back since the PI is absent. But when calling an analog phone there is a PI sent over.

If your PBX are Actel's, please refer to this:

OMC>>External Lines>>Protocols>>ISDN Trunks>>Parameters>>check"send ringback tone for incoming calls"
