Non-Existing Number return to internal Extension

Hi

Call Flow:

IPPHONE--> CUCM-->VG-->ISP

Signaling path : SIP

If we dial a  number that is not exist and the three last digits are the same with our extensions then the call is not  drop down but its coming back to the extension with the same three last digits

Example:

calling 92234567 and this number does not exist then the call reach our extension with number 567

Can we fix that or the ISP must change something about that

Non-Existing Number return to internal Extension

Hello,

Could you provide the telephony related configuration from the voice gateway as well as output of "debug ccsip messages" for a call?

Kind regards, Andrew C.

Non-Existing Number return to internal Extension

Do you have dial-peers for such DNs (567) in your GW???

And what do you send to telco??

Any translation rules?

It might be your configuration which is sending the calls back in.

Re: Non-Existing Number return to internal Extension

Hi

Below is the debug for one non-existing number

You can see that the ISP return the 404 not found but the cube then send an ACK and then re-invite to the cucm

With result the call finall instead to drop down to reach one extension into CUCM

Attached is the debug

Re: Non-Existing Number return to internal Extension

Hi,

I have not read the debug you enclosed yet, but I can say that you should change the configuration of the dial-peers number 900 and 910. You should change your destination-pattern from '...' to something more specific and add $ to the end to disable variable-length matching (this could be the root of your problem, btw). So your final destination-pattern should be something like this:

destination-pattern 3..$

Please try it and reply with results.

Kind regards,
Andrew C.
