One way audio issue.

Hi Guys,

I am currently studying for my ccnp voice and I have my Voice Lab set up at home. I have a SIP account that I use for outbound and inbound calls.

I have all my dial plan configured and I am doing H.323. All my outgoing calls work fine. I can make local, long distance and international calls  and I am able to hear them very well ( two way audio work fine). In the other hand when I receive a call from PSTN network no ringtone, no audio and call goes to voicemail.

I am able to see the calling number on my cisco ip phone but that is all. I did a lot of troubleshooting but no success.

Anyone can advice? Thanks

One way audio issue.

Can you post your incoming dial-peers configuration and any relevent configuration in CUCM related to your issue?

Re: One way audio issue.

One-way audio is generally a routing or NAT issue.

Is your call server in the same subnet as your phone?  What call server are you using?

Can you confirm with your SIP provider that you need to enable NAT?

Re: One way audio issue.

Yes. My call server and ip phones are in the same subnet. I am using cisco MCS 7815.

Actually I am using PAT: here is the config

ip nat inside source list 1 interface fa0/0 overload

int fa0/0 is the port connected to my modem
