One Zero Is Missing...

Hi,

A customer can place an outbound call with an extra 0 e.g. 00123456789. If this customer receives a call then it is always with only 1 zero e.g. 0123456789. By pressing the "Recall" button, he can't place an outbound call.

How I can fix this issue?

Thanks.

Add Prefix to the Missed Call Number

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_tech_note09186a00805b6f33.shtml

or use translation rules if using H323

Re: One Zero Is Missing...

Hi Java,

Thanks for the link. But can I solve this issue by putting a "0" in the field "Prefix Digit (Outgoing calls)" under al Translation Patterns?

Thanks.

Re: One Zero Is Missing...

Hi,

Yes you can do this. But you have to ensure that the the CSS on your gateway has access only to the partition for the translation pattern. Your xlation pattern will then have a CSS that has access to all your internal phones.

NB: Make sure that its only the partiton of your xlation pattern that the CSS on your gateway has access to otherwise this will not work.
