outbound call fails for a particular number

HI  have call manager version 8.6 and VGW 3845 with IOS version flash:c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-24.T6.bin"

 

outbound call to one particular number fails intermittently failure ratio is 3/5 almost.

when the call goes via one gateway output is ,

I suspect it could be servic eprovider issue as he issue happens only for one number and also intermittent.

As you receive the disconnect message from your provider, please talk to them on why they are disconnecting the call.

This cause indicates an unspecified D-channel error with no other standard cause.

Hi Baskaran,

Can you please share your debug of successfull and unsuccessful for the same number for which you are facing intermitent issue.

In that you can compare for the "Transfer Rate = 64 kbit/s" and check if you find any variation between both the calls.

Another possibility is that the call from your VGW to destination is not direct i.e once call arrives to PSTN they may be directing that call through differnent path to reach to the destination.
