Outbound call to h225 gateway failed


I have the following problem, please, help, if you know how


ccm 4.1 =

ip-phone =

h323-gw =

ip-phone mac = SEP0013C35AFFFF

ip-phone directory number = 104

route-pattern value = 5555555


ip-phone > ccm > h323-gw > e1 > pbx > external user's phone


dial 5555555 (external number) from ip-phone and to reach external (pstn) user


after digit analysis completed successfully (after ip-phone

user dialed the last 5 digit) ip-phone user hears reorder tone



Pinging with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=255

Reply from bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=255

Reply from bytes=32 time<10ms TTL=255

Ping statistics for

ccm trace shows, that device with id "DEEC1445-6FF6-499A-A3A4-B6FFB52F8EA7" is "Not In List",

and then and prints "not In List set Pid to NULL"...

does it mean ccm couldn't find and h225 gateway in the route list ?

the fact is that route pattern 555555 looks into route list that

contains single route group with that single gateway which is entered by ip.

if it would be helpful, i've got also DNA analysis xml file, that states the call must be routed successfully.


Any ideas would be greatly appreciate.

Just an idea make a route pattern specific to the number that you are trying to dial. point this route pattern directlly at your gateway in question. Then see if you get reorder tone.

You should also try to run a debug isdn q931 on the gateway to see if the call hits it at all.

I will take a look at the ccm traces that you have attached to the case.

Also it looks like you have attached an ccm trace I will look at that .

From the trace it looks like callmanager is sending this to the gateway. The next step would be to gather the debug isdn q931 to see if the call is hitting callmanager. If it is gather a debug voip ccapi in out. This will tell us if it is a dial peer problem.

Thank you, guys.

But it seems to me, that the problem is not contained in an h323-gw configuration. There is an operational pots dial-peer with destination pattern 5555555, that looks to PRI D-channel. And when I access gateway with help of PBX access-code it matches perfectly and goes to PSTN. 'debug isdn q931' & 'debug voip ccapi inout' also showed nothing. I want to note also, that reorder tone appeared _immideately_ after last (seventh) digit dialed.

I wonder, why ccm doesn't find and show ip address of h323-gw in its trace ?
