Owner User ID field - Greyed out?

CUCM 6.1.2 setting up mobile connect for users and part of the documentation references setting the "Owner User ID" field (in phone device settings) to the correct userid. Problem is that this field is greyed out. Anyone know why it would be grey?

sure, after disabling EM you can configure the owner user ID needed for mobile connect. afterwards you can enable EM for the phone once again.

we also ran into this issue and today succesfully using both, EM and mobileconnect.

found my own issue. turns out that if Extension mobility is enabled on a phone, this greys out the Owner User ID field. I suppose you cannot use both Extension mobility and Mobile connect.
