Is there a way in UCM 6.1 to not require users to have to login via the phone everytime they want to connect to there personal directory or fast dials? It's a real pain when you trying to be productive to have to "login" each time you wan to make a fast dial or look someone up in your personal directory.
thanks in advance,

1. Create a phone service named pab
2. Use the following url http://:8080/ccmpd/pdCheckLogin.do?
3. Add the following service parameters (no default value)
- name
- pin
- userid
4. Go to the phone you would like to add the service to.
5. Go to related links -> Subscribe/Unsubscribe Services
6. Select the pab service you created -> next
7. In the name field enter the device description SEP then MAC (ex. SEP003123456789)
8. In the pin field enter the users pin
9. In the userid field enter users name
10. Click subscribe
11. Click Save
12. Reset the phone

Hi, my name is carlos and i'm trying to do this auto-login pab on a ccm 6.1(2), but doesn't work.
I configured the parameters as you mention on the post:
userid
name
pin
(all lower case?)
Should the user login for the first time manually?
Regards in andvance

Hi,
I just tried the exact steps given and was not able to get this to work.
Is there anything we should take note on?
Thanks!

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone got this figured out. This would be great for all users I support but there's one in particular that really, REALLY struggles with logging back into Personal Directory whenever I have to restart the cluster.
Thanks,
Jason
