Personal Directory Dialing Problems

We are using the Personal Address Book service on our 1940 Series IP phones. We entered a contact name and number in the Personal address book, for example, the number wanting to be dialed is entered in the address book as 123-456-7890. The number used to access the outside line is 8 and is entered in the setup parameters correctly. When hitting the dial softkey for the contact with the number 123-456-7890, the number that is actually dialed is 81234567. It dials the outside access line number (8) and leaves off the last three digits of the phone number and thus does not dial the correct number. What would cause the personal directory to leave off the the last three numbers when dialing. The number dials fine when not using the personal directory.

I have also noticed now after testing the problem more, when the our local area code is used, the number is dialed with no problem using the personal address book. The problem listed above is only occuring for area codes that are long distance.
