Phone Transfer Problem

We're using 7940 series phones and I'm having a problem getting calls to transfer to an administrator when pressing 1 within the bosses voice mail message. All my settings look correct, but the call is sent straight to voice mail rather than ringing the phone. Any hints from the experts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Al

This is a unity related issue imho, prob you should set the caller input of 1 to do 'transfer to' instead of 'send to greeting'.

Also verify the transfer settings on the target subscriber and check that they are set to the second option (ring extension or something like that).
