ok.. so.. we setup Phone View and it works great except for one thing..
when calling into the system the caller will hear three rings, then nothing for approx 4 seconds before VM picks up. It's as if the last ring is "gone". It's just long enough to be noticeably annoying to the customer.. and to us...
if anyone has any experience with this or can tell me how to resolve, I'd appreciate it.
I opened a TAC on this and there is no fix for it yet. So I just turned the feature off. What is happening is the time it takes to pop the xml page on the phone notifying the caller that someone is leaving a message.
You can go in the UTIM settings and disable that feature and just leave the other feature on. That is what I did. The benefits are outweighed by the user complaints at least in my situation.
