I have a question about bulk inserting of the phones and users on CM6.1 (or any other). I created the CSV file which creates both users and phones. The thing is that in order for CDRs to work properly, user has to have his phone MAC in "controlled devices" section and phone has to have "Owner User ID". So what happens is that one is reffering to another. I can achieve this in couple of iterations which include inserting users, inserting phones, and then updating the users, but I was wondering if there is a better and quicker way...
This is the only way, I went through a similar scenario a while ago and I opened a TAC on it as the owner id field did not get populated initally, TAC told me it's per design and the only solution was to import phones with users and then export the phones and re-import them with the owner ids. I actaully ended up doing a sql update for this:
run sql update device set fkenduser=(select pkid from enduser where userid='3125958121') where device.name='SEP001E4A34A9AA

the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
