I am having trouble getting the phoneview and remote monitoring for a couple of phones. I noticed one phone that I was troubleshooting had a shared line on a couple of other phones. Is there any conflict with PhoneView and shared lines?
On startup, and then every 15 minutes thereafter, Unity gets a list of Directory Numbers and Device Names that are registered to CallManager. If it gets more than one device back with the same DN, it does not know which device it should bind to for Message Monitor. In this case, it will require the user to call in and activate Message Monitor from the IP phone they wish to monitor calls from. Have them do this through the subscriber conversation in Setup (4) > Personal Settings (3) > Message Monitor Settings (6). Once there, they will have the option to enable Message Monitor.
