My customer wants to be able to PICKUP a call for someone in the pickup group while being on a call.
I could not find a PICKUP button in the softkey template under Connected / On Hold states. Is there a way to add this into my softkey template.
The user has to put the existing call on hold and press New Call then press Pickup.
you cannot pick up a call while you are connected to a call already. The only way to do this is by putting your current call on hold and then picking up
Even if I put the current call ON HOLD, I am not able to PICKUP. I have to do a NEW CALL to PICKUP.
Is it possible to configure "Feature Access Codes" for this in the CUCM 6? Like pickup using **3 , or something like that. I am trying to think of a way to cut down key strokes. Right now it is :
Hold - New Call - Pickup - Toggle Down - Answer.
Which is simply too much to expect of a user.
