Please explain phone load interaction regarding Time display
After the fun we had with DST, I am really curious how the phone(and associate load) determine time to display. I have users in Tijuana running off a Cluster in San Diego. There is no time zone in CCM for Tijuana, since it is new, and Cisco seemed to miss that. I see the typetimezone table in SQL, but I still do not understand where the load goes to look for time, and how does it modify for time zone?
(I tried to manipulate the timezone table to fix my TJ problem, but it did not work. I changed the Mexico selection that is normally -6 to -8 and chnaged the field from 360 to 480. I expected this to correct the time, but after a test, the phone was in fact using -6. Thanks in advance!! Dane
