Hi

I am going to upgrade my network SW and phones but I have dout about the PoE the phones I am going to are Dx650, 8871 and 8954

I found that the DX650 Power = IEEE 802.3af (Class 3) or IEEE 802.3at (Class 4) Power over Ethernet (PoE)

Hi Ahmed,

802.3at also called as POE Plus.

802.3at standard has 12.95 W to 25.50 W for the device to be powered  while the source like switch which provides power has 30Watts.

it is basically required if u need to connect External Camera else u can also work 802.3af
