Polycom 501 with Cisco 3548

I am having some performances issues with polycom 501 phones connected to the cisco switches...phone works fine but the pc connected throught the phone has sporadic ip access/issues...I am looking for the proper/recommended switchport settings on the cisco switches to support these phones...voice vlan vs trunk settings...

what Software have you got running on the 501?

The latest Version is 3.1.2B and you find it here:

I have attached a Document explaing how to upload new Software to the 501
