Dear All,

I have CUCM ver 6 and I want the callers from outside my company only to listen a greeting message when they call some specific phone numbers inside my company in which:

1. The caller calls (for example 2121555)

2. The caller listen the greeting message

3. The caller will be directed to the no. 2121555 after the greeting message finished

Any help will be very appreciated.

Regards,

There is no standard functionality within CUCM to do this. It may be possible to implement it using a product such as Unity messaging, Contact Center Express or failing that a TCL script on your voice gateway.

If you can post whether you have any of these products deployed then people here should be able to give you more help.

Actually, I have Cisco Unity 4.2

Can I use it for this purpose?

Yes, but it's going to be configured per user you.

You would need to create a call handler per each user you need to have this.

In the call routing rules to create a rule for each user for only external calls and send them to their call handler.

The call handler will have the greeting and after greeting action to attempt transfer to the user's subscriber.
