PRI B-channels are admin shutdown after bouncing D-channel

So we had some PRI issues and I tried to bounce the D channel thinking it was going to restart all of them and it seems the D channel came back up but all the B channels are in an administratively down down state. See below, where s0/0/0:X PRI had no issues and wasnt touched, and s0/0/1:X was the PRI that was bounced. I did do a show isdn status and both links are in State = MULTIPLE_FRAME_ESTABLISHED, the carrier also sees no issues now. Maybe I'm missing something but my lack of voice knowledge may be the problem and I'm looking too much into it? How do I get the B channels back into the down down state like the other PRI?

PRI B-channels are admin shutdown after bouncing D-channel

hi,

This is cosmetic. The correct way to look channel state for Voice PRI is

to check the output of "show isdn service" and not "show ip interface

brief" as this is not IP link but a voice TDM trunk.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,

Karthik
