PRI Splitting

Hi,

I believed what I want to do is call PRI Splitting

What happened is that my customer had one range of number:

64179500 to 64179519

now, the range is not enough, and the provider give them

65129500 to 65129519

How can i configure this on a CCME, so that CCME will recongnize both set of number and pass to the respective user?

First set of user extension: 500 - 519

Second set of user extension: 600 - 619

Is this possible?

Regards

Yen Lung

Re: PRI Splitting

Hi,

you can number you extension so you have 500-519 and 600-619, or you can translate the second DID block to extensions 520-539.

Basically, you can do as you like better.

Please rate post if it helps!

Re: PRI Splitting

Is there any special command to input into the system due to splitting of numbers on the PRI ?

Re: PRI Splitting

How are you doing this for the first set of DID's, can you not use the same method for the new range?

Or is the telco only presenting the last 3 digits, if so you will need the telco to present 8 digits.
