Why would you use 192.168.3.0 as the source-address/TFTP server?  They need to point to the CME box.

Your ip source-address doesn't look right:

ip source-address 192.168.3.0 port 2000

What does "show ip int brief | e una" show for addresses on the box?

Try running "debug ephone register" as well to see if you get any useful information.

Also what TFTP server address do you have configured on the 7912?

Thanks Brian. I will run these and let you know

OK. IP source-address is correct.

cme_router#sh ip int brief | e una
Interface                  IP-Address      OK? Method Status                Protocol
FastEthernet0/0            192.168.0.12    YES NVRAM  up                    up
FastEthernet0/0.1          192.168.1.2     YES NVRAM  up                    up
FastEthernet0/0.2          192.168.3.2     YES NVRAM  up                    up

Debug ephone register output

cme_router#debug ephone register
EPHONE registration debugging is enabled
cme_router#

TFTP server address is 192.168.3.0.

Phones IP address is 192.168.3.1

Let me know if more information is required. Thanks Brian in advance

Why do you have the source address and TFTP server set to 192.168.3.0 when that's not an IP address on the box?

Change the ip source-address to 192.168.3.2 and change the TFTP server to 192.168.3.2 as well.

Thanks for your reply Brian.

Source address is the DHCP server that the phone is getting the IP address from as the phone confirms.

Same as the TFTP server.

Why would you use 192.168.3.0 as the source-address/TFTP server?  They need to point to the CME box.

I understood that the TFTP server could either be the CME box or separately.

OK then. Will re-configure. As I have also found out. The files for the phone appear to have gone missing as when I used sh ephone phone-load..the output is nothing. As in nothing.
