Re: Problem Cisco IP-Phone 7962-G

Hi Juan,

Are you running CME or CUCM? Look like phone are no hitting the TFTP server.

1. Are phones getting the Option 150 from DHCP server?

2. Are firmware files loaded on CUCM or CME?

Problem Cisco IP-Phone 7962-G

I have a CUCM 9.1.0, I have several versions of firmware for this model, but none of these load.

I would reconfigure the firmware files as they may be corrupt. Please see the below post with a similiar issue and resolution.

It seems strange that this corrupt file, since other phones of the same model successfully downloaded the firmware.

Re: Problem Cisco IP-Phone 7962-G

It looks as though the phones are receiving the Option 150 from teh DHCP server, hence downloading the default file. I would verify that the required firmware files are located on the associated TFTP server being used.
