Problem with Cisco 3825 router

Hi all,

I'm using a router Cisco 3825 as a voice gateway in my network (IOS version 12.4). When I put it on it started with a ROMMON mode. I then type the command "confreg". When I type reset command the router starts and some strange characters appears on my screen and can no more access to my router.

Can someone help ?

Hi,

most likely the console serial parameters are misconfigured, use confreg again to change them to 9600 / 8N1.
