problem with CME license

Hi,

If I put the command ´sh license detail cme-srst´ I receive this :

This mean is already installed the license? because althoug says ´License State: Active, In Use´ there is only a Evaluation period of 8 w and 4 d.

When this period expire, should I keep on using the CME router?

Do I need to do anything else or is all ok?

I Ivan,

CME / SRST licenses are honor based and hence you have to just
accept the EULA. After the 60 days of evaluation the license will change to
"right to use" for 12 years.

so, as you say, there is already accepted, and after 2 weeks the license will expire in 12 y.

Yes.

Basically as per me, Cisco consider 12 year as life of the product so you can use the CME/SRST till the product is alive ( i.e 12 years).

Just thought that I would add that in newer IOS's the 12 year RTU ( right to use)

license has been replaced with a "Lifetime" RTU license
