Got a problem with moh going from CallManager to CME. Got CCM in California going to CME in Dallas. Phone are in a region set for g.711 withing its own region, g.711 to the moh region and g.729 to the Dallas region.
Call is made to the CME. Call is placed on hold from the CCM side. The trace indicates that a transcoder is trying to be invoked. I have tried to ensure that the CME can do a g.711 call if needed but CCM still tried to use the transcoder. Is there any way to stop the CCM from using the transcoder or do we have to use a transcoder in this case?
I beleive you have added CME as a gateway or ICT trunk. Have you made sure that you have MTP option checked as well as configure a MRGL in the trunk / gateway or device pool level ? Also for MOH to send the stream with g729 codec, you need to enable g729a codec in IPVOice streaming media service parameter page.
