Problem with SIP trunk and B-ACD


I have a problem with B-ACD on CCMe. B-ACD has two options: transfer to hunt group and dial by extension.

If I call to B-ACD from internal IP phone everything works fine (both options).

If call comes from SIP provider I can chose any option, but dial by extension works incorrect. First of all I don’t hear prompt «». It is strange, because I here without any problem other prompts. And when I press extension number B-ACD collect only two digest, double one of them, add digit 2 and then place a call. Of cause called number is incorrect.

Main thing! If call comes from internal IP phone everything work fine. I hear prompt «» and I can dial by extension.

Any ideas?


SIP provider -- SIP (G711ulaw) --Incoming DP (SIP) --Outgoing DP (H323)-- H323 (G711ulaw)--B-ACD

Not sure what IOS ver. you have on the CME but this

should work fine later 12.4 IOS (CME 4.3/7.0 or later)

Its possible that dtmf method being negotiated for the

external call is not OOB/reliable.

Can u share your config along with following debugs for

one call?

deb sip mess | err

deb voip ccapi inout

deb voip application script | err

Pl. run these when there is no other call on the system

(if possible as these are very verbose and will impact sys


Capture in a logging buffer along with msec timestamping

and sequence num.

Pl. mention call flow and calling/called num.

Thank you very much for your attention.

The problem was solved. I have misconfigured dial-peer. This dial-peer was a reason of such strange behavior.
