I have a new dual server CUCM 5.1 install. The publisher has suffered a hardware failure. Does anyone know what the official line is regarding moving the Pubs disks to a new server (identical hardware - possibly the subscriber).

I never done that But I'm sure that CM will know is working with a dif system board and the NIC mac address will be different and you may run into call processing issues. Is there any reason why you can not just rebuild the 1st node and restore from backup?

1) Contact licensing@cisco.com or open a TAC case to move your licenses to the other MAC address.
OR
2) You could also build a new server and do a BARS restore. I heard that this will run for 30 days and then it will stop if you don't install new licenses.
You need new licences anyway. If the disks are not damaged, I would try 1).
