Hi All,
We have implemented QFINITY voice recording. There are 2 remote offices through a VLAN and this VLAN is being monitored on a port of a 3560. In this port, the QFINITY server is connected. The problem is that phones of these remote offices are hearing a beep during the conversation, at random.
Has anyone had any similar problem or can guide us to detect the problem?
thanks
Hernan

Hi Hernan,
Can you please check this Phone parameter that is invoked even if you aren't using any Recording Software;
From Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, choose Device > Phone > Phone Configuration > Product Specific Configuration
Recording Tone:
Indicates whether a recording tone (often referred to as a beep tone) is enabled or disabled for the phone. If the recording tone option is enabled, the phone plays the beep tone in both directions of every call, regardless of whether the call actually gets recorded. The beep tone first sounds when a call is answered.
You may want to notify your users if you enable this option.

Hope it helps.

Hi Anand,
Thanks for your reply but this parameter is not present in Phone Specific Configuration. Call Manager version is System version: 8.0.3.20000-2
I check the Call Manager Service in Service Parameters and I see this parameters
Do you have another idea?

Hernan

If this a Active or Pasive Solution? If they integrate via CTI the remote application has control over playing the tone or not when the recording session goes active.

It is a passive solution. There are two remote offices that are in separate voice vlan and this voice vlan is monitoring to the switch port where the Qfiniti recorder is connected.
