QoS between ethernet WAN link

Hi Everyone.

I have a question about how I can configure QoS between some of our offices that use an Ethernet based MAN for connectivity.

Currently, we have 2 offices in the NY area that have a new 50Mb Ethernet MAN link.

In site A, we have our datacenter/network hub with our call managers and unity servers and a Cisco 6513 switch. On the 6513, I don't see any QoS configured.

In site B, we have an office just with IP phone users (no call managers or anything) and a Cisco 3750 L3 switch. On this 3750, we have auto QoS enabled

The Ethernet MAN link is plugged into this Cat 3750 in Site B and the Cat 6513 in Site A.

I am running QoS on my VPN routers between different offices but I am not sure how to do this between the switches.

Could someone please help me get this going?

Thanks in advance.

Pete

Re: QoS between ethernet WAN link

Pete,

The equivalent of QoS in the Ethernet L2 world is known as CoS (Class of Service). You will need to enable this for end-to-end QoS.
