QoS commands for Cisco IPT

Hi,

I am using Cisco CM5.1.3 in my office. Now i want some good document which refer's to specific QoS commands that should be used in Access & Core layer of data infrastructure and which are considered as Industry best practices.

Any help in this regard will be really appreciated.

QoS is a extensively broad topic, and in most cases is platform specific. Please take a look at the Network Infrasture section within the SRND, this discusses the various QoS methods and deployments and would be a good place to start.

If you are looking for specific QoS commands, you should look at QoS for your given platforms. For example there are number of documents on CCO for the 6500 which discuss marking, policing and egress scheduling techniques for both Native and Hybrid.
