We are looking at installing Callmanager CSE to intergrate with MS CRM.
My concerns are we only get 300ms RTT ping times to the end point (UK) and from my online investigations & Document reading this is on the higher end of Toll quality voice level? What sort of ping times should I be looking for?
& how close does the CME need to be in relation to the CRM server? Is remote distance between them going to be and issue?
To get over the high ping times (latency) we are looking at placing the CRM at a mid point (LA) between the two companies branches NZ & UK, this will allow the majority of VOIP users better Qos we believe? Our ping times into and out of LA are at 180 RTT. Once installed the 729 Codec will be used to help. What other testing methods can I use to determine the QoS. Any suggestions will be very much appreciated! My Thanks.
