Dear All

,

Recently i am helping customer  intergrate BT - Brokerage phone system with Cisco voice gateway via qsig.  My customer using Call manager 7.1 and unityconnection 2.x.  Call function between BT phone system with call manager via qsig working fine however only extension number show on BT and cisco phone.

Question:

How to allow both phone system show caller name?

Thanks

Hi, what I can see is that the BT side sends Daniel Cheney as the name.

Call from BT to Cisco: Contained in Setup

Call from Cisco to BT: Contained in Connect

To get the Cisco side to send the information you have to check if an alerting name is configured on the phones line and if you filter somewhere this information out. Same for the other direction BT is sending the information, check for any accidently active filters.

Regards

Andre

Ok, I just saw that you are using H323. MGCP is best for that scenario (my experience).

Anyway you could try this with h323:

voice service voip
h323
  h225 display-ie ccm-compatible

dial peer to cucm
h225 display-ie ccm-compatible system

interface Serial0/0/0:D
isdn supp-service name calling

Regards

Andre
