I have just installed a Quescom GSM gateway for a customer of mine. He is happy with it but the unit currently withholds the CLID when dialling a GSM mobile so the called person get "Caller Unknown" on their mobile phone.
Ideally I would like the caller to see the main reception number for the company. The Quescom gateway is seen as a non-gatekeeper trunk by CallManager. Under outbound calls I have set the Caller ID DN to the number required and set the Calling Line ID Presentation to allowd but still no luck.
I suspect that the settings may need to be altered on the Quescom unit. Has anyone used one of these and do you know how to solve the problem?
