under route plan menu in ccm there are two components:
application dial rules
external route plan wizard
cipt course doesn't cover these two options anyhow, are they an alternative way for configuring route plan with its associated attributes that could already be configured from route/hunt option and translation pattern option
i read about both options (application dial rules and external route plan wizard) without getting the idea or purpose of introducing them, so for what they are?
These are used with IPMA Assistant Console. You can define rules such as, if the number dialed starts with 5 and has 3 digits following it (say 5000) then prefix the digits by 9972586. The use of these rules are applicable only when an IPMA assistant drags a speed dial entry into the IPMA call window. You can read more about app dial rules here.
